What makes these nights especially exciting is the chance for the Main Acts to show a different side of themselves. They might play unreleased tracks, revisit old favorites, or strip things back for an acoustic moment — whatever feels right on the night. That is when you realize this is more than just another gig. For our jam sessions, we have chosen a handful of favourite clubs across Hamburg — venues with exactly the right atmosphere. They are big enough to dance in, intimate enough to feel close to the artists, and fully equipped to make the night run smoothly. In short, they have everything needed for a live music experience that delivers. One of them: the Uebel & Gefaehrlich. The top location next to Hamburg's Reeperbahn!

We keep things simple and avoid unnecessary extras. That means we can handle a lot ourselves, with a little help from friends. But real impact only happens together: with everyone who shows up, buys tickets, spreads the word, cheers us on, and helps carry the idea forward. This is a team effort. And only with you does club culture stay what it should be — a vibrant part of society.

SO WHO ARE "WE" EXACTLY?
“We” is Dirk and Chrissie. We are two people who love music, small clubs, and nights you never forget. Chrissie has always lived and breathed music, but without chasing the spotlight. After her first live performance at the age of 14 in Ireland, she knew the stage was where she belonged. Since then, she has played with bands and musicians across a wide range of styles, including New Wave, Pop, Soul, Rock, and Rap. For her, music means freedom, fun, and creative expression. Contracts, rules, and creative limits are not for her. The magic happens in the moment — when musicians push each other forward, the crowd gives that energy back, and the whole room comes alive.
Dirk loves music with character — music that has an edge, surprises, and the courage to do things differently. He is drawn to sounds that cross genres and do not fit neatly into one box. And while his own singing is best left to the imagination, he much prefers enjoying music to performing it himself, which his friends are quietly very grateful for. Dirk works behind the scenes, where his love of music and real live moments helps bring GigStars.de to life. His goal is simple: put talented Newcomers in the spotlight and give Hamburg’s club scene, nights people will still be talking about years from now.
